The Calgary studies were written for the mission teams who go to Calgary, Alberta, in the summers. They were designed for the volunteers to do every morning individually and then discuss as a group at the end of the day. The goal is to ensure that each person allowed God to pour into him or her before going out to serve the people they were there to serve. Then the study discussed as a group provided an opportunity for team members to get to know each other better and bond in the united purpose of the team.
The Week of Champions study was done for the sports camp with that name that we have every summer in Hilton Head Island, SC. It, like the Calgary studies, is for volunteers to allow God to pour into them in the mornings before they go out to pour into the children. These studies also include a lesson for the children based on the same passages as the volunteer lessons.
If you would like to use any of these studies for your mission trip, I would be happy to send you the Word document so you can adapt it to your group.
