These words of Jesus are recorded in John 10:10: "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." The main goal of any Bible study should be to encourage us to grow into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and to live according to His principles. This provides the foundation for living the abundant life that God designed for us.
This site contains a collection of Bible studies that God has given me. You will find them listed under the "Bible Studies" tab. One of them, Changed by Christmas, has been published by WestBow Press and you will find a link to information that includes an excerpt and an option to buy it.
Here are two things I'm highlighting:

Tommy and I love to ride the bike paths on Hilton Head Island and enjoy the beauty of the island while also having time to talk with God and give our bodies the exercise we need. These bike paths remind us that our lives are made up of the paths we take...some are paths that God leads us on and others are paths we choose for ourselves. We have a choice every day to follow God or follow our own desires.
In considering how these paths relate to the daily choices we make, I'm reminded of these words from Hebrews 12:1b: "...and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us..." (ESV) God has laid out our race, our path, before us and it is our responsibility to follow it. Are you on the path God has laid out before you? This question is key to living the abundant life God has planned for you and these Bible studies are provided to point you toward that goal.
